Horses in California, Inc. is a non-profit organization that brings together civic, cultural, and volunteer participation to unite the city of San Francisco through equestrian arts and events. Its goal is to foster leadership among the youths of San Francisco so that they will continue to uphold the cultural strength of the City, as well as its equestrian history. Horses in California, Inc. hosts such equestrian events as Polo in the Park, Jumping in the Park, Dressage in the Park, and the future San Francisco International Horse Trials, in order to create awareness of, and to raise money for, its James S. Brady Therapeutic Riding Program for children with special needs both locally and internationally.
